I’m pleased to announce that ChatSpring is now out of beta & ready to take on the world!

In case you haven’t heard, ChatSpring is a live chat application for sales and customer service.

You add a little piece of JavaScript to your site, and then you can:

Watch visitors browse your site in real time
Engage them with live chat
Save customer profiles with browsing history, contact info, etc

I really want to thank our beta testers. They came through for us time and again, not only in finding bugs, but also in suggesting features, UI tweaks and so on.

To give you an idea, here’s a short list of features that we added as a direct result of user feedback:

“The other party is typing” messages
Audio Alerts
Emailable chat transcripts
Automatic capture of the visitor’s name & email address.
“Pooled” chat routing for larger organizations.
